... Third Party integration
Digital Chemistry has a number of collaborations with other software vendors, many of whom have integrated our software into their own products. In addition to this type of integration, we also offer integration components that allow our software to be easily used from within 3rd party applications, such as Pipeline Pilot from SciTegic.
Web Services integration
Our range of Web Services operate using the standard SOAP protocol and may be called from any client that supports this type of remote invocation. However in some cases we provide components which allow our Web Services to be called directly from other vendors' applications.
Pipeline Pilot components

We offer a range of Pipeline Pilot components which allow both chemical structure fingerprinting and clustering of any protocol based data.

Fingerprints may be generated from any structure format available from within Pipeline Pilot. They are represented in a form which allows them to be used in exactly the same manner as the native SciTegic fingerprints and passed on to any component which requires fingerprints.

Our clustering components allow any data held within a Pipeline Pilot protocol to be clustered, the server is not tied to chemical structures - so long as binary or floating-point data is present, it can be clustered using the Web Service. The components themselves have been designed to be as flexible as possible, so as to fit into any existing workflow. Also, as the Web Service may reside on a stand-alone server, away from the Pipeline Pilot Server, large clustering jobs can be handled with maximum efficiency, leaving the Pipeline Pilot server to serve other processes (as shown below).

An example protocol which shows our clustering components being used can be downloaded here (Pipeline Pilot V5.x.)

Please note that this protocol will only run if you have the clustering server installed on your local Pipeline Pilot server. To use the example, right click on the link above and save the xml file to your local machine. The XML file can then be dragged into Pipeline Pilot and viewed.

If you would like to discuss detailed specifications, licensing issues or pricing for any of our products please contact us, our details are given opposite.
