Digital Chemistry
is a UK-based cheminformatics software company, which specialises in the development of toolkits and applications for chemical and pharmaceutical research. Through its well-known subsidiary, BCI, the company has developed a strong reputation for its scientific and technical excellence over many years, particularly in the areas of:
- Chemical Representation & Search
- Fingerprinting & Dictionary Generation
- Clustering & Cluster Analysis
- Diversity Analysis
- Markush Structures & Combinatorial Libraries
- Chemistry File Format Conversion
A variety of technologies and software platforms are supported and customers can choose the technology that best suits their needs. Powerful toolkits permit the in-house development of bespoke systems tailored to individual requirements, while the Fingerprinting and Clustering Web Services provide a fully-functional ‘plug & play’ solution, ideally suited to rapid integration with workflow systems such as Inforsense and Pipeline Pilot. Our new data cartridge, Torus™, permits the storage and retrieval of both discrete molecules and Markush structures directly within Oracle®. Further specific information concerning both functionality and deployment options is available via the Products page.
Much of BCI's development effort involved close working relationships with its customers, helping to understand and meet their specific needs, either by enhancing the product range or through the creation of bespoke applications (see Consultancy). This is a philosophy which is also very much at the heart of Digital Chemistry's business and we are always happy to work with both old and new customers alike.
